A little summary about meHi, I’m Yasmine, a designer of all things digital!
I’m a designer who is very passionate about UX, UI design, Illustration and Videography.
As a very visual person who absolutely loves problem solving, the multimedia world has been a great fit for me. Over the years I have gained experience in project management, working with clients, teamwork and managing the design process.
I am currently a freelance designer and video editor based in Ottawa Ontario. Previously I was working as the Lead UX and UI designer for OAK Computing, a local software development company.
Just about three years ago I graduated with a Bachelors of Information Technology majoring in Interactive Multimedia and Design from Carleton University. From this program I learned a variety of skills ranging from web design, video editing, visual effects, animation, 3D graphics, programming, front end development and more.

My Software Skills
Skilled in the Adobe Master Suite programs (Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, Fireworks, Premiere, AfterEffects, Dreamweaver, InDesign, Acrobat, Captivate) as well as Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Autodesk Maya. Just a whole basket of softwares.
